The color is also a huge plus, I’m a sucker...read moreI bought this parka mainly as a lightweight, all-purpose rain jacket since I can’t stand umbrellas and their barely-there rain protection. What really drew me in was the length, it falls below the knees (which is rare), offering great coverage. The color is also a huge plus, I’m a sucker for browns, and this one is just lovely. When I first got it, there was a slight fishy smell, but after hanging it up for two day, it disappeared completely. Yesterday, we had a storm where I live, and while I did bring an umbrella (I know, ironic, but a downpour is a downpour), the parka kept me practically dry during my errand. It’s been serving me fantastically so far. Beyond function, I also love the design since it has a unique style that stands out from the typical parkas you see everywhere.

Super great raincoat!

This raincoat is very practical, super light, but protects from the rain very well. Taken it with me on a hike in Colombia and it served its purpose very well!
