Payment

We reserve the rights for print errors, change in prices, missing and delayed deliveries and sold out items. You can pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.


Security

You can safely use your credit card on our web shop. Our payment system requires 3D Secure – a worldwide security standard verified by Visa and Mastercard.

If your card is flagged as not 3D Secure, or if you’re having issues with the 3D Secure data not being accepted (Verified by Visa/Mastercard Secure etc.), it is best to contact your bank to confirm if there is an issue and to make sure your card is 3D Secure.


Sales Tax

As a resident of Canada you are obliged to pay sales tax after the respective state tax law. Sales Tax will be added at checkout automatically based on your address.


Returns

We offer the opportunity to return our products ordered from rains.com. For products bought from an authorized Rains dealer, please reach out to the corresponding dealer for return / exchange.

You have 30 days from the day you received the product to return any unused items.  The returned items must be in unused and original packaging with hangtags.

Once your return request is approved, please send back the merchandise in the same conditions as when it was delivered. All returned goods must be placed inside the branded poly bag. Merchandise returned without poly bags will automatically be rejected and returned back to the shipping address. Please note that customers are responsible for goods that have been worn, altered or damaged while in transit.


Complaints & Faulty Delivered Goods

To process a complaint or warranty claim, valid proof of purchase must be provided. This may include a receipt, order confirmation, or other equivalent documentation showing the date of purchase and the product.

Products purchased via our webshop are covered by a 2-year warranty.
If you have received a faulty item, we will provide a prepaid label to you. We will offer a replacement or a refund for the unworn and unused item(s).
If you make a claim of your purchase within the 2-year warranty period and we accept the claim, we will offer you a replacement with free shipping.
We will refund your shipping costs for returning the faulty item.
If you have received the wrong product or size, we will pay for the return of the product and send you the correct product.
If the item is out of stock, we will refund the price of the item.

All products from Rains purchased from one of our stores or dealers are also covered by a 2-year warranty, but all claims need to be submitted through the store at which the product was purchased. However, if the store is no longer in business, please reach out to our customer service team at us@rains.com. Upon issuing a complaint, please note that a proof of purchase is required.

As an extra service to customers who are signed up as a newsletter subscriber, Rains offers 6 months extra warranty. That gives you 2,5-year product warranty in total based on the same terms as stated above. The extended warranty is valid for products bought from rains.com or in Rains stores after March 31st, 2023. Any products purchased before this date is covered by standard warranty.

 

Shipping

All orders are shipped during courier's business hours, and will be processed and shipped within 3-5 business day of submission. We deliver within Canada only.

You can follow your package via track and trace from shipping it until it is delivered. Tracking link will be forwarded to the e-mail received at order placement.

Please note that we are not responsible for any shipping delays, including delays due to severe weather conditions.


Promotion

Our offers are only available for a limited period while supplies last. Rains reserves the right to stop these offers without prior notice. If a product is purchased online or in store prior to going on promotion, we are unable to refund the difference in price.

When returning a product that was purchased within a multi-buy or promotional offer, those additional items must also be returned. If the items are not returned, the value of the items will be deducted from the credit.


Gift Card

A gift card purchased from the Canada webshop (ca.rains.com) cannot be redeemed at other local Rains webshops or physical Rains stores. Gift card cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full. A gift card can be used in multiple transactions until its value runs out.

Returns for purchases made with a gift card will be refunded to the same gift card. If you paid with a combination of payment card and gift card, as a priority the refund will be made to the payment method that is not the gift card.

Our Rights in Relation to Your Orders

We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order, in whole or in part, as well as to refuse returns or refund requests, where circumstances make this necessary. This may include, for example:

 

  • The product is no longer available, out of stock, or there are delivery or supply issues.
  • Obvious pricing or listing errors on our website.
  • Your billing or delivery information is incorrect, incomplete, or cannot be verified.
  • Payment is not approved, reversed, charged back, or we do not receive payment within a reasonable time.
  • The order, return, or refund request is suspicious, unusual, or potentially fraudulent.
  • The order is placed for resale or in breach of our purchase restrictions.
  • You attempt to bypass our systems, purchase limits, discounts, or security measures, or use automated systems, scripts, bots, or third-party services to place orders or submit refund/return requests on your behalf.
  • You frequently purchase a large number of products using one or more linked accounts (for example, accounts connected through the same or similar delivery address, phone number, payment method, email address, device, or IP address) and at the same time make an unusually high number of returns, frequently request refunds, initiate chargebacks, or otherwise exploit our systems in bad faith.
  • There is evidence of misuse, abuse, fraudulent behaviour, repeated exploitation of discounts or promotional offers, or non-compliance with our return and refund conditions.
  • You violate applicable laws or these Terms and Conditions.

 

Where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, or bad faith conduct, we reserve the right to:

 

  • Reject or cancel current and future orders;
  • Refuse returns or refund requests;
  • Withhold refunds where permitted by law; and/or
  • Suspend or close associated accounts.

 

If we reject or cancel an order, we will refund any amounts already paid where required by law. However, we may withhold or deduct amounts where legally permitted, including (for example) to cover delivery costs for uncollected packages, administrative costs resulting from chargebacks, or losses arising from fraudulent or abusive conduct.
